Privacy Policy

ArmedIQ ("we", "us", "our") provides a private, personal record-keeping vault for lawful collectors of firearms, bows, suppressors, and optics. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights over it.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, hashed password, authentication tokens.
• Collection data you enter: item details, serial numbers, acquisition info, photos, maintenance logs, NFA registration data, modifications, optic dope.
• Device/security data: enrolled passkey credentials, reveal session timestamps, IP address used at login.
• Diagnostics: minimal error logs to keep the app running.

2. How we use it

Only to provide the service to you: authenticating you, storing and displaying your collection, generating exports, and sending transactional emails (password reset, share links you create). We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use your collection contents for advertising.

3. Sensitive fields

Serial numbers, NFA data, and acquisition details are stored encrypted at rest and gated behind a re-authentication step ("Unlock"). Anyone with your account password can decrypt them — keep it private.

4. Sharing

Nothing is shared publicly by default. You can generate share links scoped to specific items; those links expose only the fields you opt to include and can be revoked at any time from Settings → Sharing.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Supabase / Cloudflare) with row-level security so users can only access their own records. Transport is encrypted with TLS.

6. Your rights

You can export your full collection at any time (Settings → Export). You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in-app at Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

7. Children

ArmedIQ is not directed to anyone under 17. Do not create an account if you are under 17.

8. Changes

Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
