Is my collection data private?

Yes. Your data is stored in your private, encrypted account and is never sold or shared. Sensitive fields like serial numbers are masked by default and unlocked with your passkey or password.

Does ArmedIQ facilitate the purchase, sale, or transfer of firearms?

No. ArmedIQ is strictly a personal record-keeping and inventory app. It does not enable transactions, transfers, or any commerce in firearms, ammunition, or regulated items.

How do I add an NFA item like a suppressor or SBR?

Open the NFA section, tap Add, and enter the Form 1 or Form 4 details — stamp date, serial, trust/individual, and approval date. You can attach a photo of the approved stamp for your records.

Can I export my data for an insurance agent or gunsmith?

Yes. From any item or the Export screen, generate a PDF with the details and photos you choose to include. You can also create read-only share links that expire.

I lost access to my passkey — what now?

Email us from the address on your account and we'll help you verify ownership and reset access. We cannot recover encrypted values without proper verification.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your data within 30 days. You can also email support to request deletion.
