Terms of Service

1. What ArmedIQ is

ArmedIQ is a private record-keeping application for individual collectors to catalog their lawfully owned firearms, bows, suppressors, and optics. It is not a marketplace, transfer service, or dealer platform. No buying, selling, trading, or transferring of regulated items occurs on or through this app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old and legally permitted to possess the items you record. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your password and any passkeys you enroll. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from credentials you fail to protect.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all data you enter. You grant us a limited license solely to store, process, and display it back to you (and to anyone you explicitly share a link with).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ArmedIQ to facilitate any illegal activity, to misrepresent ownership of items you do not lawfully possess, to upload content that violates third-party rights, or to attempt to compromise the service.

6. NFA and regulated items

Records you enter about NFA-regulated items (suppressors, SBRs, etc.) are for your personal recordkeeping convenience only. ArmedIQ records are not a substitute for the original ATF documentation, which you must retain separately as required by law.

7. Service availability

The service is provided "as is". We make no uptime guarantees. Always keep an export of your collection (Settings → Export).

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in-app (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArmedIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data.
