Firearm Estate Planning
Records and documentation for your firearm collection
Catalog every firearm, attach the paperwork that proves you own it, and leave behind a clear, private record so your collection is ready for whatever comes next.
The problem
Most collections live in someone's head. The serials, the values, the NFA paperwork, the trust schedule, the suppressor that was bought a decade ago — none of it is written down in one place. When the family needs that information, it isn't there.
The ArmedIQ approach
ArmedIQ keeps every firearm, every document, and every NFA item in a single private record you control. Photos, serials, acquisition history, appraisals, and forms live together — so the inventory exists in writing, not just in memory. We help you document and organize. Legal and tax questions about transfers and trusts belong with a qualified attorney.
Documentation and organization
The records your family will need, kept where they belong — with the items they describe.
Every firearm with make, model, serial, caliber, photos, and acquisition history in one searchable catalog.
Bills of sale, appraisals, owner's manuals, warranty cards, and FFL paperwork live with the firearm they belong to.
Form 1s, Form 4s, trust schedules, and tax stamp scans attached to each suppressor, SBR, or NFA item.
Acquisition cost, current value, and modification spend captured so insurance and estate records aren't guesswork.
Higher tiers include a portable export of the full catalog — photos, documents, and history — so the record can be shared with whoever needs it.
Row-level security plus on-device Protected View. No public registry, no broker, no third-party data sharing.
Not legal advice
ArmedIQ helps you document and organize. Questions about transfers, trusts, beneficiaries, and inheritance should go to a qualified attorney in your state. Read Firearm Estate Planning: Passing Down Your Collection Responsibly for the documentation patterns we recommend.
Frequently asked questions
Is ArmedIQ a legal or estate-planning service?+
No. ArmedIQ is a private inventory and documentation tool. We help you organize records — serials, photos, forms, and valuations. Legal questions about transfers, trusts, and inheritance should go to a qualified attorney in your state.
Can I attach appraisals and bills of sale?+
Yes. Each firearm record supports multiple documents — PDFs and images of appraisals, bills of sale, FFL paperwork, manuals, and warranty cards.
How do I share the record with my family?+
Higher tiers include a portable export of every firearm, document, and log entry you've created. The export can be archived securely and shared with a spouse, executor, or attorney as you see fit.
Will my collection appear in any public registry?+
No. ArmedIQ is private by default. There is no public registry, no broker, and no third-party data sharing. Records are scoped to your account with row-level security and protected by Face ID / Touch ID and Protected View.
